Role-based Security
Flexible security functionality allowing each customer to build custom roles to be assigned to users of the system. For example, each user could be assigned one or more of the following roles: Poll Respondent, Poll Administrator, and System Administrator.
Workgroups
Standard organizational unit within the system. A workgroup is the home for documents such as Poll Requests and is the entity in which users are assigned a role. The system provides a simple way for users to switch between workgroups, allowing users to have differing roles in multiple workgroups while keeping the system simple to use.
Poll Items
Items are associated with a single Poll Request event and will consist of core details including: description, unit of measure, commodity code, estimated price, manufacturer, manufacturer number and notes.
Poll Response Workflow
Poll Responses can be subjected to approval. Once a user submits their Poll Response the response will be held in a pending status until the approver reviews and accepts the Poll Response.
System Administration
System administration for configuration of workgroups, users, roles, addresses, workflow, and items.
Data Extraction
Data extraction engine allowing users to pull out system data.
PDF Generator
Support for the system to create PDF documents from a Poll Request and Poll Response for use off-line.
