Bid Workflow Module

The workflow module offers two configuration options.  One workflow configuration option might include routing all bids created by a junior level buyer to a senior buyer for final review and issue.  A second workflow configuration enables an authorized user to create, issue, and award bids without requiring management staff to review and/or approve the bid.  However, a threshold is established.  Purchasing managers are only notified of bids where the award value exceeds the established threshold value.  The Bid Workflow Modules allows the professional procurement department to decentralize lower threshold bidding/quotations yet retain central procurement authority.

Both configuration options can be deployed simultaneously offering the highest level of automated control.
