eProcurement Catalog Administration

The application is designed for simple catalog management for entities who desire to operate the eProcurement marketplace.  Catalog creation is enabled through the online interface.  A spreadsheet bulk import is most commonly utilized to load large catalogs.  Images can be associated with each catalog item and are automatically scaled to thumbnail size in lists and enlarged by the shopper when desired.

Contract details can be associated with each catalog including the ability to link to contract documents.  Contract effective dates are associated with each catalog.  When a contract expires, all associated catalog items are no longer displayed to a shopper.  Furthermore, orders containing expired items are flagged.

Security can be associated with a contract.  Designated catalogs are only displayed to specified shoppers.  For example, a sheriff's department may only allow approved individuals to shop and order firearms.

Merchandising tools are also available such as the ability to establish keyword - Aliases.  For example, you may have negotiated pricing for Puffs facial tissue.  However, you anticipate that many of your shoppers will search for "Kleenex" which would in many eCommerce sites return "No Results".  The application allows you to associate alias keywords with an item to enhance your shoppers' experience.

Suppliers, catalogs, and items can be featured upon login offering your eProcurement Marketplace the ability to effectively advertise your contracts through promotions and positioning.
